PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
1.Use of Device
Root observation is the main observation contents of underground part of plant. The system could acquire the local microscopic high-definition picture information of plant roots in situ under natural status so as to discriminate the living or dead roots through ultraviolet light source system. Meanwhile, it is equipped with excitation fluorescence imaging that could have a systemic study on the species diversity, population composition, interaction and spatial distribution of soil microorganisms. The plant root morphology and other important parameters could be acquired through root ecological analysis software so as to provide correspondent data of underground root growth for the study of plant root ecology, stress resistance and coercion.

2.1 Composition of System
A mobile fluorescence in situ measurement system for root zone is composed of 1 host of root image acquisition system, 1 set of image capture system software, 1 set of root ecological analysis software, 1 fluorescence excitation light source system for CFP and GFP respectively, 2 sets of fluorescent filter replacement kit, 2 sets of system positioning devices, 1 set of ruler device, 1 piece of instrument box, 110 outer diameter 90 mm 1 m micro root canals, 1 set of mobile image processing unit, 1 set of indoor terminal image processing unit and 2 sets of spare power supply.

3.1.1 Hardware System
3.1.1.1 Camera: 5 million-star level ultra-wide dynamic digital color camera
3.1.1.2 Fluorescence excitation light source: The light intensity could be adjusted independently to achieve the CFP and GFP fluorescent protein excitation. The light source and filter is equipped with automatic switching function without any manual exchange of any parts;
3.1.1.3 Software programmed dimming: Software could achieve diming without turning buttons. The accuracy is no less than 1%. There is an automatic memory gear to ensure the experimental repeatability and consistency.

3.1.2 Software part:
3.1.2.1 Abundant shortcut key function can draw root system easily and rapidly, and it could copy root system and have overall drag translation with a multi-node box selection; the multi document operation is suitable for temporal and spatial comparative analysis; for the entered image, it could have a rotation, change of the image resolution (DPI), image size, image enhancement, adjustment of image contrast and crisp enhancement of image; measurement of root biomass, 12 single root system parameters, statistical parameters of 30 living and dead roots, topological statistical parameters of 30 living and dead roots, 5 root node trend parameters; multiple languages, applicable to English, simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese.
3.1.2.2 Exporting Excel chart data for the convenience of the processing and analysis of Excel, MATLAB, SPASS and other software;
3.1.2.3 Name each root to define whether it is living or not; drag key nodes to fit the root system perfectly and specify the parent-child topology relationship;
3.1.2.4 Have management on the time and place of root collection; have correction on the angle offset of the image to have notes for the convenience of data management;
